At a glance
The cone meter is a flow meter that imposes a pressure drop in the flow along which it is applied. Through an appropriate calibration, it is possible to derive the flow rate value starting from the measurement of the pressure variation detected between the upstream and the valley of the cone. In the specific case the customer needed to:

• prototype a cone-meter for the measurement of combustible gases and saturated steam
• prepare a measurement set-up including two pressure probes along the wall of the duct rather than on the surface of the cone
